DBA Street Series T2 Slotted Brake Rotors

*Black High Temperature Coating

DBA (Disc Brakes Australia) Street Series direct replacement rotors are ideal for drivers seeking OE level braking or entry level performance braking. As one of the most safety critical components in any vehicle, DBA manufactures above OEM standards as our minimum requirement. DBA’s Street Series improves on traditional OE rotors with DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation for improved heat reduction and EnShield Protection for rust free rotors, available with either an OE style CBN machine finish.

Bi-Symmetrical T2 curve slots dampen the vibration harmonics or noise, resulting in a quieter, responsive and smoother brake pedal feel. T2 slot design provides even pad wear and assists in minimizing glazing of pad surfaces. Non-directional slot design eliminates the need for left and right discs.

Expert Opinion

DBA Street Series T2 are a high quality replacement rotor. One step down from the 4000 series rotors, but better quality than 80% of the rotors on the market. These are a great choice for heavy use street vehicles that don't need the 4000 series rotors, but still want a very high quality rotor. On average, these rotors will last 2x longer than most other rotors on the market.

DBA Street Series T2 Rotor Features

  • T2 Bi-Symmetrical Slot Design
  • Kangaroo Paw ventilation
  • Direct replacement suitability
  • Moisture proof corrosion protection packaging

DBA Rotor Cleaning

Cleaning a disc rotor correctly will often eliminate any issues with squeal, runout (DTV) and pad contamination. Most disc rotors have a protective coating applied post production to avoid any corrosion during storage. It’s a simple process that can be done in less than a minute.

  • Use a suitable brake parts cleaner. - Please Note: Carburetor cleaner and brake cleaner products are not the same. Carb cleaner is intended to leave a lubricating residue whereas brake clean will leave a dry surface.
  • Apply the brake part cleaner to a clean cloth or paper towel. - Applying directly onto the disc rotor can damage any paint coating intended to protect the rotor from corrosion.
  • Wipe in a circular motion around the friction ring surface.
